She pointed out that individuals who begin voting for a particular party at ages eighteen, nineteen, or twenty tend to maintain that loyalty throughout their lives.
During the 2024 election cycle, both President Donald Trump and former Vice President Kamala Harris leveraged social media to reach younger constituents. Young men ultimately played a crucial role in Trump’s victory. Kennedy, who shares his name with one of America’s most recognizable presidential figures, has similarly endeared himself to online audiences through candid moments and entertaining clips, including one where he introduced followers to his elliptical machine, which he named Margaret.

Kennedy’s political journey began in Louisiana state government, where he served five terms as state treasurer. A November montage showcasing his quick responses earned seven million views, while a similar July compilation reached 600,000 viewers.
When asked about potential presidential ambitions, Kennedy told NewsNation’s Katie Pavlich that he remains focused on the upcoming midterms and his Senate reelection but refuses to dismiss a White House bid entirely. “I’ve had some people talk to me about it,” Kennedy said. “Doesn’t mean I’m going to do it.
