Iran’s new Ayatollah calls for the ‘shedding’ of Donald Trump’s blood

The escalating conflict between Iran and its adversaries has seen a fresh wave of rhetoric from the country’s latest spiritual leader, who has urged the killing of Donald Trump. Abdollah Javadi Amoli, the newly appointed Ayatollah, addressed state television viewers, emphasizing the need to confront “oppressive America” and declaring that “his blood is on my shoulders.”

“We are now on the verge of a great test and we must be careful to fully preserve this unity, to fully preserve this alliance.”

The US and Israel launched a coordinated military operation on Saturday, striking Iran’s leadership, missile capabilities, and nuclear infrastructure. This assault has been framed as a step toward destabilizing the government, with some analysts suggesting it could spark a power shift within the regime.

Meanwhile, jihadist calls have spread through online platforms linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. These messages have encouraged supporters across Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, and Pakistan to take aggressive action, including destroying the embassies and assets of perceived enemies.

Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was among the casualties of the conflict, an event some see as a catalyst for internal upheaval. However, others caution that the absence of a clear successor could lead to instability and disorder.

According to official reports, the war has resulted in over 1,230 fatalities in Iran, with more than 70 casualties in Lebanon and a small number in Israel. The latest strike by Iran targeted US and Israeli military bases, with the nation’s leaders vowing retaliation for the attack on an Iranian warship in the Indian Ocean.

The US Navy destroyed an Iranian frigate in the Indian Ocean on Tuesday night, killing at least 87 sailors. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi criticized the incident as “a maritime atrocity,” highlighting the ship’s role as a guest of India’s navy.

“Frigate Dena, a guest of India’s navy carrying almost 130 sailors, was struck in international waters without warning,” he wrote on social media.

On Thursday, Iran deployed its Khorramshahr-4 missiles in an attack on Israel, according to the Revolutionary Guard. These missiles are equipped with a one-ton warhead and can carry multiple explosive payloads. The Israeli military responded by conducting targeted strikes against Hezbollah, an Iranian-backed group in Lebanon, and launching a widespread assault on Iran’s capital infrastructure.
